Ramón Urías - Won't return in 2021 Urias (groin) won't be reinstated from the injured list prior to the end of the regular season, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Impact Urias landed on the 10-day IL with a right adductor strain Wednesday, and he was eligible to return Oct. 2. However, the Orioles won't attempt to rush him back into action and will instead shut him down for the remainder of the year. The 27-year-old appeared in 85 major-league games this year and hit .279 with seven home runs, 38 RBI, 33 runs and a stolen base. Jahmai Jones is in line to serve as the primary second baseman to close out the regular season.

Cristopher Sánchez - Recalled by Phillies Sanchez was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Thursday.
Impact Sanchez was sent to Lehigh Valley at the end of July, and he posted a 4.93 ERA and 1.44 WHIP in 34.2 innings across eight minor-league appearances since then. He'll serve as a low-leverage reliever for the Phillies after right-hander Matt Moore (back) was placed on the 10-day injured list, and he'll be available during Sunday's bullpen game, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Matt Moore - Placed on injured list Moore was placed on the 10-day injured list with a low back strain Thursday, retroactive to Sept. 20.
Impact Moore tweaked his back during batting practice Wednesday, and the issue will force him to spent time on the injured list. He'll be eligible to return prior to the end of the regular season since the move was backdated to Monday, but it's not yet clear whether he'll be healthy enough in time. Left-hander Cristopher Sanchez was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to take his place in the bullpen.

J.T. Realmuto - Sitting Thursday Realmuto isn't starting Thursday's game against the Pirates.
Impact Realmuto will get a breather after he went 5-for-16 with a triple, two doubles, four RBI, a run and a stolen base across the last four games. Andrew Knapp will start behind the dish and bat eighth.
