Cionel Pérez - Picks up first save Perez earned the save, allowing a walk and a hit in the ninth inning of a 10-7 win Sunday in Kansas City.
Impact Perez wasn't at his best, throwing only 12 of his 23 pitches for strikes, but got the job done to record his first big-league save. Jorge Lopez had pitched in consecutive games so Perez got the opportunity to close it out in a three-run game. Despite his 1.36 WHIP, the lefty has limited runs and has a 0.98 ERA in 18.1 innings.

Hunter Dozier - Huge game in loss Dozier went 4-for-5 with a double, a home run, two runs scored and two RBI in a 10-7 loss Sunday against Baltimore.
Impact Dozier fueled Kansas City's attempted comeback, hitting a two-run homer in the sixth and doubling in the eighth. After going 3-for-26 to start June, he broke out of his slump with a monster game. With a .768 OPS, Dozier is having his most productive season at the plate since 2019.

Richie Martin - Two triples in win Martin went 3-for-5 with two triples, three runs scored and two RBI in a 10-7 win Sunday against Kansas City.
Impact Martin singled and scored in the second, tripled and scored in the sixth and scored following a two-run triple in the seventh. It was the second three-hit game of his big-league career and first since 2019. The 27-year-old started at shortstop after playing second base in his season debut Saturday. With Ramon Urias (oblique) out and Jorge Mateo slumping, Martin could see some regular playing time if he continues to produce at the plate.

Brad Keller - Crushed in short start Keller (1-8) took the loss Sunday against Baltimore, allowing five runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out three in 1.2 innings.
Impact Keller allowed a two-out solo homer to Anthony Santander in the first and back-to-back homers to Ryan Mountcastle and Rougned Odor to start the second. Keller was removed later that inning after allowing a two-out two-run single. Over his last seven starts, the 26-year-old is 0-6 with a 7.23 ERA and eight home runs allowed in 37.1 innings. His next start will likely be next weekend in Oakland.
