Heads overseas Voth signed a one-year, $150,000 contract with the Samsung Lions of the Korea Baseball Organization on Monday, Jee-ho Yoo of Yonhap News Agency reports.

Impact After being granted his release from the Rangers last week, Voth quickly found a short-term opportunity overseas in Korea. The 34-year-old righty has pitched primarily at the Triple-A level in 2026 but made three big-league appearances between stops with the Twins and Blue Jays, logging a 9.90 ERA and 2.50 WHIP across 10 innings.

Signs MiLB deal with Rangers The Rangers signed Voth to a minor-league contract Thursday, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Impact Voth elected free agency Sunday after getting designated for assignment by the Twins on June 24. The right-hander only appeared in three games total at the major league level for the Twins and Blue Jays in 2026. He had made 11 starts in the minors for the two organizations. He has yet to go past five innings pitched in his minor-league starts and has only appeared as a reliever in the majors for 2026.

Impact Adam Macko served as the Blue Jays' opener for Friday's game, with Voth coming in to secure the final out of the second inning. However, Voth struggled over his next three frames, yielding two runs in the third before allowing solo home runs to Jackson Holliday, Pete Alonso and Samuel Basallo across the fourth and fifth innings. Luckily for Voth, he escaped with the no-decision after the Blue Jays scored six runs over the seventh and eighth frames. It was just the second major-league outing of the season for Voth, but he's given up six runs on eight hits, five walks and three wild pitches with just one strikeout across six innings.
