Nets minors deal from Twins The Twins signed Voth to a minor-league contract Thursday, Theodore Tollefson of Zone Coverage reports.
Impact Voth had opted for free agency earlier this week after being removed from the Blue Jays' 40-man roster. He had to settle for a minor-league contract, but Voth has a good chance to eventually get a chance in the majors as part of an underwhelming Twins relief corps.

Reaches free agency Voth elected free agency Monday.
Impact Voth will hit the open market for the third time in 2026. The White Sox first released him coming out of spring training, and Voth has now elected free agency on two occasions after the Blue Jays designated him for assignment. Voth's latest stint with Toronto lasted just three days, with the Blue Jays dropping him from their 40-man roster after he was lit up for five runs on five hits and four walks over 3.1 innings in a bulk-relief role last Friday in Baltimore. The 33-year-old could once again find his way back to Toronto on a minor-league deal if he doesn't fetch a more appealing offer in free agency.
JUNE 2 • ROTOWIRE
Removed from 40-man roster Toronto designated Voth for assignment Saturday, Mitch Bannon of The Athletic reports.
Impact Voth was brought up to the big-league roster Wednesday and gave up five runs on five hits and four walks over 3.1 innings in bulk relief Friday. He's subsequently lost his place on the the 40-man roster in favor of Hayden Juenger, who had his contract selected from Triple-A Buffalo on Saturday in a corresponding transaction.

Struggles in bulk-relief role Voth allowed five runs on five hits and four walks without striking out a batter across 3.1 innings during the Blue Jays' 6-5 win over the Orioles on Friday.
Impact Adam Macko served as the Blue Jays' opener for Friday's game, with Voth coming in to secure the final out of the second inning. However, Voth struggled over his next three frames, yielding two runs in the third before allowing solo home runs to Jackson Holliday, Pete Alonso and Samuel Basallo across the fourth and fifth innings. Luckily for Voth, he escaped with the no-decision after the Blue Jays scored six runs over the seventh and eighth frames. It was just the second major-league outing of the season for Voth, but he's given up six runs on eight hits, five walks and three wild pitches with just one strikeout across six innings.
MAY 30 • ROTOWIRE
Added to bullpen The Blue Jays selected Voth's contract from Triple-A Buffalo on Wednesday.
Impact Voth will provide the bullpen with some protection after the Blue Jays used five pitchers in Tuesday's win over the Marlins. He's grabbed the roster spot vacated by Tanner Andrews.
MAY 27 • ROTOWIRE
Back with Blue Jays Voth agreed to a minor-league contract with Toronto on Monday.
Impact Voth has had a busy first month or so of the 2026 campaign, as he was released by the White Sox in late March, and then signed to a minor-league deal by Toronto. He was promoted to the majors for one appearance April 5, but was designated for assignment one day later, and elected free agency Thursday after clearing waivers. Voth will now return to the Blue Jays on a minor-league deal and figures to serve as pitching depth at Triple-A Buffalo.

Opts for free agency Voth cleared waivers Thursday and elected free agency, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Impact After being DFA'd by the Blue Jays on Monday to make room for Josh Fleming, Voth will now explore his options in the open market. The 33-year-old allowed one earned run in 2.2 innings during his lone appearance with the Jays and posted a 3.69 ERA over 61 innings during his most recent full season in the majors in 2024, so he should be able to secure at least a minor-league deal.
APRIL 9 • ROTOWIRE
Dropped from 40-man roster The Blue Jays designated Voth for assignment Monday.
Impact Just one day after being called up from Triple-A Buffalo, Voth will surrender his spot on Toronto's 40-man roster. The right-hander will be replaced by lefty Josh Fleming, whose contract was selected from Buffalo in a corresponding move. Fleming will provide the Blue Jays with a fresh arm capable of covering multiple frames out of the bullpen after Voth yielded one earned run on three hits and one walk across 2.2 innings during his Toronto debut in Sunday's 3-0 loss to the White Sox.
APRIL 6 • ROTOWIRE
Getting chance with Blue Jays Toronto selected Voth's contract from Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday.
Impact After Voth was released by the White Sox on March 20, the Blue Jays scooped him up on a minor-league contract. In one start with Buffalo this season, the right-hander tossed three innings, allowing two earned runs on two hits and no walks while striking out two batters. Voth has worked both as a starter and a reliever during his time in the majors, but given that Toronto stated that he'd be available to pitch Sunday, it appears he's slated for a bullpen role.

MARCH 20 • ROTOWIRE
Signs NRI deal with ChiSox Voth signed a minor-league contract with the White Sox on Friday and received an invitation to spring training, James Fegan of SoxMachine.com reports.
Impact Voth will return to the United States to audition for the White Sox after spending 2025 in Japan, where he posted a 3.88 ERA and 1.28 WHIP over 130 innings. The 33-year-old righty owns a 4.70 ERA in his seven-year MLB career, but he could still capture a spot in Chicago's Opening Day bullpen with a strong spring.
FEBRUARY 14 • ROTOWIRE
Signs overseas Voth signed with the Lotte Marines of Nippon Professional Baseball on Sunday, Yakyu Cosmopolitan reports.
Impact Voth was non-tendered by the Mariners in November. The 32-year-old righty had been working as a reliever the past two seasons in MLB, but he'll likely stretch back out in Japan. He had a 3.69 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and a 61:18 K:BB in 61 innings over 68 appearances in 2024.

Headed to free agency Seattle non-tendered Voth on Friday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
Impact Voth signed with the Mariners in January on a one-year deal after playing for the Orioles in 2023. Voth posted a 3.69 ERA and 1.05 WHIP over 61 innings in 2024, which were his best numbers since 2019 when he played for the Nationals. The 32-year-old will enter free agency and should garner plenty of interest from teams looking to bolster its bullpen with right-handed pitching.

Hit with fifth loss Monday Voth (2-5) took the loss against the Athletics on Monday, allowing a game-winning solo home run to the only batter he faced.
Impact Voth dueled with Shea Langeliers for six pitches to open the bottom of the ninth in a 4-4 tie, and the backstop ultimately got the better of the battle when he launched a 418-foot shot to left field to walk it off for the Athletics. It was the second homer allowed by Voth in his last five outings and snapped a three-appearance scoreless streak that had temporarily lowered the right-hander's ERA to under 3.00. Despite the stumble Monday, Voth retains an impressive 3.13 ERA and 0.93 WHIP across 61 appearances, numbers he's complemented with 13 holds.

Dominant for 12th hold Voth secured his 12th hold in a win over the Rays on Wednesday, firing 1.1 perfect innings during which he recorded three strikeouts.
Impact Voth put on a clinic in efficiency, requiring only 15 pitches to record his four outs. The veteran right-hander has been a largely steady hand for the Mariners' bullpen all season, with Wednesday's performance lowering his ERA and WHIP to 3.02 and 0.93, respectively, across 53.2 innings while also affording him his first hold in exactly one month.

Impact Voth was put in a tough spot right from the onset, as he entered the game as an emergency replacement for Ryne Stanek, who was pulled due to back spasms after facing just one batter. Voth allowed a go-ahead three-run home run to Jo Adell after opening his outing by walking Zach Neto, giving the Angels a one-run lead they wouldn't relinquish. After an eight-appearance scoreless stretch, Voth heads into the All-Star break having surrendered a total of four runs (three earned), including two total homers, in two of his last three trips to the mound.
