Swipes first bag Wednesday Swanson went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in a win over Tampa Bay on Wednesday.

Impact Swanson knocked in a run with a ground-rule double in the sixth inning and subsequently came around to score on an infield single by Ozzie Albies. He also swiped a bag in the seventh frame after reaching base on a throwing error. The 26-year-old has gotten off to a hot start this season, slashing .391/.391/.739 through six games.

Bounces back with four-hit game Freeman went 4-for-5 with a home run, a double and three RBI in Wednesday's win over Tampa Bay.

Impact Freeman entered the game batting .143 following a four-strikeout performance Tuesday, but he responded resoundingly by racking up eight total bases and registering his first home run Wednesday. The 30-year-old got the Braves on the board in the third inning with a two-run shot to right field and collected another RBI with a single in the sixth. With his four-hit effort, Freeman upped his average to a healthy .316.

Whiffs seven in no-decision Morton pitched five innings against the Braves on Wednesday, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out seven. He did not factor in the decision.

Impact Morton's second start of the campaign was a marked improvement over his Opening Day outing in which he allowed six earned runs. The right-hander was hurt by a two-run home run off the bat of Freddie Freeman in the third inning, but he held Atlanta scoreless in each of his other four frames while throwing 55 of 80 pitches for strikes. Morton will aim for his first win of the campaign Tuesday in a home game against Boston.
