Baker on etiquette: 'Too late for me to change the world'

Dusty Baker is happy to stay out of the latest kerfuffle over players showing up each other on the field

Jake Meyers - Scratched from lineup Meyers (shoulder) was scratched from the lineup for Game 4 of the ALCS against Boston on Tuesday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Impact Meyers was originally listed as the Astros' starting center fielder and was lined up to make his ALCS debut, having missed the first three games of the series after hurting his shoulder at the end of the ALDS. Instead, it will be Chas McCormick manning the position. It's not clear if Meyers suffered a setback or if he's simply been deemed not quite ready.

Jake Meyers - Ready to start Meyers (shoulder) will start Game 4 of the ALCS against the Red Sox on Tuesday, batting eighth and playing center field, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Impact Meyers has yet to see the field during the ALCS after injuring his shoulder in the final game of the ALDS against the White Sox. He was cleared to play in Game 3 on Monday but remained on the bench. During the regular season, he hit .260/.323/.438 in 49 games in his first taste of major-league action, but his 30.7 percent strikeout rate casts doubt on the sustainability of that line.
