Back in Charlotte The White Sox optioned Haseley to Triple-A Charlotte on Friday.

Impact Four days after being recalled from Triple-A, Haseley will return to the minors without making a plate appearance. The 27-year-old outfielder is slashing .277/.365/.431 across 156 plate appearances in Charlotte and could return to Chicago as a depth piece if he keeps performing in Triple-A the way he has. Carlos Perez was recalled from Charlotte in a corresponding move.

However, his major-league history is less than impressive, and he will likely serve as a bench piece while in Chicago. Jose Rodriguez was optioned to Double-A Birmingham in a corresponding move.

In 39 plate appearances, Haseley has hit .222/.282/.278 while with the White Sox, and he's likely to remain an up-and-down option for Chicago while he remains in the organization.

Impact Haseley ran for Yasmani Grandal (hamstring) in the sixth inning. It was a productive substitution by manager Pedro Grifol, as Haseley stole second and scored on a Tim Anderson single. This was Haseley's first steal of the season to go with five runs scored and two RBI through 34 plate appearances over 20 games. Impact Haseley received just his second start since he was called up to the big league club two weeks ago and took full advantage of the opportunity. The 27-year-old was put in the leadoff spot and singled in the first, third, fifth and ninth innings and reached via a walk in the seventh. His RBI knock in the ninth tied the game up at nine apiece and he would come around to score on a walkoff three-run blast by Andrew Vaughn. Haseley was a first round pick back in 2017 but has never lived up the profile since debuting in 2019. There's not really much upside with him, but he could move ahead of Oscar Colas on the team's outfield depth chart with Colas struggling to make an impact at the dish. Haseley's big performance Sunday puts him at a slash line of .545/.615/.636 over 13 plate appearances.
