Traded to Mariners Toro was traded to the Mariners on Tuesday along with relief pitcher Joe Smith in exchange for pitchers Kendall Graveman and Rafael Montero, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Impact Toro's presence on Houston's roster was already becoming less necessary following Aledmys Diaz's return, and with Alex Bregman (hamstring) likely to be activated in the near future, Houston has opted to use the infielder as a trade chip to acquire some much-needed relief help. Toro was reported to be in a Mariners' uniform prior to Tuesday's game against the Astros, though it's not yet clear if he's been added to the club's 26-man roster.
