Top-10 showing on PGA Tour Sugiura closed with a bogey-free six-under 64 on Sunday to finish in a tie for sixth place at the ZOZO Championship.
Impact The 23-year-old proved he can contend with some of the top players on the PGA Tour with this strong top-10 showing. Sugiura has six top-10 finishes on the Japan Tour in 2024, including a win at the Japan PGA Championship. He gained strokes across the board at Narashino this week and will hope to get more chances on the PGA Tour in the future. Since he did finish top-10 that should get him into the World Wide Technology Championship Nov. 7-10.
