Cracks top-20 at Valspar Simpson posted a four-under 68 in the final round of the Valspar Championship to finish tied for 18th.

Impact Simpson opened and closed the tournament with the same score, and he may have been in contention for a top-10 finish had it not been for his three-over 74 in the second round Friday. He ranked T8 in birdies made, T15 in driving accuracy and in the top-30 in both SG: Around-the-Green, SG: Off-the-Tee and SG: Putting. It was just the second time Simpson made the cut in four PGA Tour events this season, and his T18 was his best performance since the 2025 Sony Open in Hawaii (T16). He will not participate in next week's Texas Children's Houston Open.
