Taylor Moore has shot 67 to win the Valspar Championship

Wins Valspar Championship Moore fired a final round four-under 67 to claim the victory at the Valspar Championship by one stroke.

Impact Moore started the final round two back of the lead and opened with a birdie, ultimately playing his front-nine in one-under and was still two behind heading into the back-nine. After a birdie on the par-4 12th hole, Moore made consecutive birdies on 15 and 16 to tie the lead and found himself atop the leaderboard at the end after Adam Schenk and Jordan Spieth stumbled late. The victory is Moore's first win on the PGA Tour and his lone top-10 in 15 starts this season.

Third straight top-15 Moore closed with a one-under 70 on Sunday at the WM Phoenix Open to finish eight-under and tied for 14th.

Impact Moore broke par in all four rounds at TPC Scottsdale en route to his third top-15 finish in as many weeks, dating back to a T11 at the Farmers Insurance Open. This past week at the WMPO, he ranked ninth among his peers in SG: Off-the-Tee and averaged five birdies per round. He'll look to ride the momentum in this week's Genesis Invitational where he tied for 21st in his Riviera CC debut last year.

His five bogeys ranked tied for fifth in the field, and he ranked ninth in strokes-gained tee-to-green over two rounds at Pebble Beach. It's Moore's third top-15 finish in 10 starts this season.
