Falls short of TOUR Championship spot Im posted an eight-under cumulative score at the TOUR Championship to finish tied with Michael Brennan for 10th.

Impact Im qualified for the BMW Championship following a T5 performance at last week's St. Jude Championship, and he needed another big week in St. Louis to move into the top-30 of the FedExCup Standings and earn a spot in the TOUR Championship. Im was well on his way to do just that after opening rounds of 67-64, though he lost momentum Saturday with an even-par 70. Things got worse Sunday after he opened the round with three bogeys over his first six holes, though he kept himself on the bubble with an eagle on the par-5 eighth. However, Im could not make the late surge he needed on the back nine, and his top-10 finish at Bellerive Country Club moved him only three spots up to 37th in the Standings. He led the field with 5.59 strokes gained on the green while ranking ninth in SG: Off-the-Tee and T10 in driving accuracy, though he also ranked outside the top-40 in SG: Approach. Im's next chance to tee off at a PGA Tour event is Sept. 17 at the Biltmore Championship Asheville.

Drops to T5 in Memphis Im posted a four-over 74 in the final round of the FedEx St. Jude Championship to finish tied for fifth with Wyndham Clark.

Impact Im was one of the best players in the field at TPC Southwind through three rounds, carding scores of 66-66-67 to enter Sunday tied with Sam Burns at 11-under and two strokes back of Scottie Scheffler. Most of the field struggled under blistering conditions in the final round, and Im was no exception. Any hopes of a tournament win were dashed by consecutive bogeys on the fifth and sixth holes, and he proceeded to card three bogeys and a birdie on the back nine. It was still enough for him to move up 13 spots to 40th in the FedExCup Standings to earn a spot into next week's BMW Championship and exemption into all Signature Events in 2027. However, he'll need another strong performance next week in order to crack the top-30 of the standings to qualify for the TOUR Championship. Im finished the St. Jude Championship fourth in birdies, sixth in SG: Putting, T8 in GIR and 22nd in SG: Approach, though he also ranked T52 in driving accuracy, connecting on 46.4 percent of fairways.

Share of 14th in Greensboro Im fired a four-under 66 in the final round of the Wyndham Championship to finish in a five-way share of 14th.

Impact Im scored three-under or better in three of his four rounds at Sedgefield Country Club, with Sunday's score being his best of the tournament. He finished 11th in SG: Putting and in the top-35 in SG: Off-the-Tee and Around, though he lost strokes in his approach play while ranking T55 in GIR and T46 in driving accuracy. Im moved up four spots to 53rd in the FedExCup Standings ahead of next week's playoff opener, the St. Jude Championship, where he finished T17 last year. If he can move into the top-50 following next week's event, then Im would earn a spot at the BMW Championship and exemptions into all 2027 Signature Events.

Misses cut at TPC Twin Cities Im carded a one-under 70 in the second round of the 3M Open but missed the cut by two strokes.

Impact It was a disappointing follow-up to Im's T14 finish at The Open Championship last week, his best finish out of the four majors this season. He was one of the better drivers in the field at TPC Twin Cities, gaining 2.51 strokes off the tee while connecting on 75.0 percent of fairways, but he lost 2.15 strokes around the green and lost another 1.39 strokes in his approach play. With the FedExCup playoffs starting in three weeks, Im will look to bounce back next week at the Rocket Classic, where's made the cut in each of his four previous outings, including T8 in 2021 and T24 in his last appearance in 2023. He currently sits 57th in the FedExCup Standings thanks to top-5 finishes at the Valspar Championship and the Truist Championship.

Misses cut at The Renaissance Club Im registered a five-over cumulative score through the first two rounds of the Genesis Scottish Open to miss the cut by seven strokes.

Impact Im was looking to bounce back from his T71 performance at the John Deere Classic last week, when he finished the tournament with a five-over 76 in the final round to fall 34 spots down the leaderboard. He was not much better at The Renaissance Club, where he lost 2.31 strokes in his approach play and lost another 2.65 strokes with his putter across his two rounds. Im has finished T30 or worse in seven of his last eight tournaments, with his T9 at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson in May being the exception. He ultimately ended the Signature Event ranked 63rd among the 72-man field in SG: Approach and T68 in GIR percentage, but he also racked up 22 total birdies while gaining 4.21 strokes with the flat stick. Remaining 60th in the FedExCup standings, Im will tee it up again this week at the John Deere Classic where he tied for 12th in 2024.
