Drops to T5 in Memphis Im posted a four-over 74 in the final round of the FedEx St. Jude Championship to finish tied for fifth with Wyndham Clark.

Impact Im was one of the best players in the field at TPC Southwind through three rounds, carding scores of 66-66-67 to enter Sunday tied with Sam Burns at 11-under and two strokes back of Scottie Scheffler. Most of the field struggled under blistering conditions in the final round, and Im was no exception. Any hopes of a tournament win were dashed by consecutive bogeys on the fifth and sixth holes, and he proceeded to card three bogeys and a birdie on the back nine. It was still enough for him to move up 13 spots to 40th in the FedExCup Standings to earn a spot into next week's BMW Championship and exemption into all Signature Events in 2027. However, he'll need another strong performance next week in order to crack the top-30 of the standings to qualify for the TOUR Championship. Im finished the St. Jude Championship fourth in birdies, sixth in SG: Putting, T8 in GIR and 22nd in SG: Approach, though he also ranked T52 in driving accuracy, connecting on 46.4 percent of fairways.

He's now placed top-15 in two of three starts dating back to a T14 at The Open Championship, ascending to 57th in the FedExCup standings ahead of the Wyndham Championship where he owns three top-10s in seven career appearances.

Misses cut at TPC Twin Cities Im carded a one-under 70 in the second round of the 3M Open but missed the cut by two strokes.

Impact It was a disappointing follow-up to Im's T14 finish at The Open Championship last week, his best finish out of the four majors this season. He was one of the better drivers in the field at TPC Twin Cities, gaining 2.51 strokes off the tee while connecting on 75.0 percent of fairways, but he lost 2.15 strokes around the green and lost another 1.39 strokes in his approach play. Impact It was a nice bounce-back performance from Im after a T71 at the Travelers Championship before missing the cut at last week's Genesis Scottish Open. Impact Im was looking to bounce back from his T71 performance at the John Deere Classic last week, when he finished the tournament with a five-over 76 in the final round to fall 34 spots down the leaderboard. He was not much better at The Renaissance Club, where he lost 2.31 strokes in his approach play and lost another 2.65 strokes with his putter across his two rounds. Im has finished T30 or worse in seven of his last eight tournaments, with his T9 at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson in May being the exception. He'll tee off next week at The Open Championship, where he's finished T81-T20-T7-T52 over his last four outings since 2022.
