Strong second round in Phoenix Theegala finished tied for 18th at the WM Phoenix Open with a nine-under cumulative score.

Impact Theegala managed to make the cut with a six-under 65 second round that included two eagles, which played a big part in him cracking the top-20 of the leaderboard despite scoring 70 in each of the other three rounds. He struggled mightily off the tee, but Theegala finished sixth in the field in SG: Around the Green and in the top-20 in SG: Putting and SG: Approach to Green. He has made the cut in all his four PGA Tour events this season, finishing in the top-20 in each of his last three outings. Theegala is in the field for next week's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am as a sponsor exemption.

Logs another top-10 finish Theegala fired a six-under 66 during the final round of the Farmers Insurance Open to finish tied with Andrew Novak and Joel Dahmen for seventh.

Impact Theegala made one of the bigger jumps up the leaderboard in the final round, posting the second-best score of the day behind Pierceson Coody (seven-under). Theegala finished 10th in both GIR and SG: Total while ranking in the top-20 in SG: Putting, SG: Around the Green and birdies made. He has finished T8 and T7 over his last two Tour outings and is in the field for the WM Phoenix Open next week.

Showing signs of return to form Theegala surged into a tie for eighth place after shooting a seven-under 65 in the final round of The American Express.

Impact Theegala's bogey-free final round helped him move up 16 spots on the leaderboard from where he sat after Saturday. Theegala was really in need of a result like this after he had a miserable 2025. This was his first top-10 finish on the PGA Tour since the 2024 Procore Championship. Theegala will look to keep leaning on a very strong short-game at the Farmers Insurance Open next week.

No. 1 in SG: ARG at Sony Open Theegala fired a two-under 68 on Sunday at the Sony Open in Hawaii to finish six-under and tied for 31st.

Impact Theegala rebounded from an opening three-over 73 in Round 1 by playing his final 54 holes of the week in a collective nine-under-par. He also paced the tournament in SG: Around-the-Green, while ranking top-5 among his peers in both putts per GIR and total feet of putts made as well. Theegala will tee it up again this week at The American Express where he's 2-for-2 in cuts made, placing T33-T54 here in 2022 and 2023.

He's now placed top-40 in three consecutive starts dating back to the Procore Championship, but Theegala lands just 140th in the current FedExCup Fall standings.

Impact Theegala missed out on a pair of majors earlier this season due to a neck injury, but he's expected to return this week at Royal Portrush for his fourth career Open Championship appearance. He most recently missed the cut at the Memorial Tournament in late May.

Impact Theegala had been struggling with a neck issue of late and doctors told him he needed to put the clubs down for a bit. That said, it's hard for any player to have to pull out of a major, but for his long-term health, Theegala probably made the right decision. Impact Theegala has been advised by doctors to put the clubs away for "a little while" as he continues to get treatment. He tried to give it a go at the Memorial Tournament last week, but he did not play well and ended up missing the cut. It's probably going to come down to the wire as to whether or not Theegala tees it up in the first round of the U.S. Open at Oakmont next Thursday. That nasty rough out there is certainly not something that would be kind to a player battling a neck injury.
