Putter remains cold at Pebble Hoey closed with a one-under 71 on Sunday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am to finish three-under and tied for 67th.
Impact Hoey's short game remains a major concern as he lost a collective 6.94 strokes on and around the greens across four rounds at Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill. He's lost at least 2.7 strokes putting in four consecutive starts dating back to The American Express, and Hoey now faces Riviera's difficult poa greens in his Genesis Invitational debut this week.

Surges to T24 at TPC Scottsdale Hoey fired a five-under 66 in the final round of the WM Phoenix Open to finish tied for 24th.
Impact Hoey saved his best day at TPC Scottsdale for last, with his final round highlighted by three consecutive birdies from holes one to three. His game on the green continues to be his downfall (70th in SG: Putting) and has overshadowed other components of his game, as Hoey ranked in the top-20 in the field in driving accuracy, SG: Approach to Green and SG: Off the Tee. He has made the cut in three of four PGA Tour outings this season, though he's dropped to 73rd in the OWGR from 69 at the end of 2025. He's qualified for next week's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am through the Aon Next 10, which will be his first appearance at the signature event.
FEBRUARY 9 • ROTOWIRE
T70 at Farmers Insurance Open Hoey closed with a four-over 76 on Sunday at the Farmers Insurance Open to finish two-over and tied for 70th.
Impact Hoey made the cut at Torrey Pines in his return from an illness that forced him to withdraw from The American Express one week prior, but he lost a collective 6.45 strokes on and around the greens across three measured rounds in San Diego. On a more positive note, he ranked 16th among the FIO field in SG: Approach. Hoey will tee it up next at TPC Scottsdale for his second career WMPO appearance, having missed the cut in his debut here last year.
FEBRUARY 2 • ROTOWIRE
Slated to play FIO Hoey (illness) is listed in the field for this week's Farmers Insurance Open.

T50 in 2026 debut Hoey recorded an even-par 70 on Sunday at the Sony Open in Hawaii to finish four-under and tied for 50th.
Impact Hoey uncharacteristically finished on the positive side of SG: Putting at Waialae Country Club, but he still lost 1.44 strokes around the green while hitting only 49 of 72 greens in regulation throughout the week. Nonetheless, he extended his made-cut streak to six starts, and he'll tee it up again this week at The American Express where he tied for 58th last year.

Impact Hoey hit only five of 14 fairways in regulation during Sunday's final round at Port Royal, but he salvaged a top-25 result by racking up 15 total birdies and two eagles throughout the week. Impact Hoey hit all 14 fairways in regulation en route to a bogey-free Sunday outing at El Cardonal at Diamante, where he ultimately averaged six birdies per round. The T21 result is Hoey's 10th top-25 finish of the 2025 PGA Tour season, improving three spots to No. 58 in the FedExCup Fall standings. He'll tee it up again this week at Port Royal where he tied for 17th in his Butterfield Bermuda Championship debut last year.

Flirts with first PGA Tour win Hoey finished in second place at the Bank of Utah Championship following his four-under 67 in the final round.
Impact Hoey put together a great performance this week that included an eight-under 63 on Saturday, but he was still four shots behind Michael Brennan at the end of 72 holes. Hoey has been one of the best ball-strikers on Tour over the last couple years and it was another vintage performance as he ranked ninth in SG: Off-the-Tee and second in SG: Approach at Black Desert Resort. Hoey made two eagles and 25 birdies for the week, but also had seven bogeys and a pair of doubles. The margins are very fine when it comes to winning on the PGA Tour, but Hoey is certainly a player that is trending towards a victory out here. He moves up to 61st in the FedExCup Fall standings and is one spot out from earning an exemption into the first two signature events in 2026.

He ultimately finished the week top-10 in each of SG: Approach, SG: Around-the-Green and scrambling as well, ascending to 91st in the FedExCup Fall standings with the T4 result in Japan.
OCTOBER 14, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Strong ball striking leads to T9 Hoey closed with a four-under 68 in the final round of the Procore Championship to finish in a share of ninth place.
Impact Hoey had a mostly mundane final round until he birdied the final three holes en route to a bogey-free day to climb into the top-10. In his usual form, he was led by his ball-striking, as he ranked in the top-10 in SG: Off-the-tee and approach for the week. Hoey switched to a long putter in Napa but ranked 47th out of 72 golfers in SG: Putting. It's his second top-10 over his last four events.
SEPTEMBER 15, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Seventh in SG: OTT at 3M Open Hoey fired a three-under 68 on Sunday at the 3M Open to finish nine-under and tied for 57th.
Impact Hoey ultimately ranked T10 among the field in GIR percentage and seventh in SG: Off-the-Tee at TPC Twin Cities, but the putter remains a major issue as he lost over six strokes putting in Minnesota. The T57 result caused him to drop outside of the top 100 in the FedExCup standings, but Hoey will be in attendance again this week at Sedgefield Country Club where he placed T22 during his Wyndham Championship debut just last year.
