Joins THE PLAYERS field
Kizzire (undisclosed) has joined the field for THE PLAYERS Championship this week, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.
Impact
Kizzire withdrew prior to last week's Puerto Rico Open after posting a T13 at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, but he'll return to tournament action this week at TPC Sawgrass where he missed the cut in 2025.

Out of Puerto Rico Open
Kizzire has withdrawn his name from the field for this week's Puerto Rico Open, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.
Impact
Kizzire has elected against traveling to Puerto Rico after notching his first top-20 finish of the season this past week at PGA National, where he ranked eighth among the Cognizant Classic field in SG: Approach and ninth in scrambling. William McGirt is slated to take Kizzire's vacant spot in the Puerto Rico Open field.

Saturday round does heavy lifting
Kizzire posted a nine-under cumulative score at the Cognizant Classic to finish in a four-way tie for 13th.
Impact
Kizzire was in danger of missing the cut, but his birdie on his 36th hole was enough to bring him to even par to make it to the weekend. He made the most of his opportunity by surging up the leaderboard with a bogey-free, eight-under 63 score Saturday, though he couldn't carry that momentum into the final round (one-under 70). He struggled with his ball striking, ranking near the bottom of the field in driving accuracy, GIR and SG: Off-the-Tee, but he did finish eighth and 12th in SG: Approach-to-Green and SG: Around-the-Green, respectively. Kizzire has made the cut in three of four PGA Tour events this season, and his T13 at the Cognizant was his best performance since the Sanderson Farms Championship in October of 2024 (T11). He'll be in the field for the Puerto Rico Open next week, where he missed the cut in his lone appearance in 2024.

Out for Farmers Insurance Open
Kizzire has withdrawn from the Farmers Insurance Open, according to PGA Tour Communications.
Impact
It is unknown why Kizzire withdrew from the Farmers Insurance Open. The American's withdrawal comes not long after he finished three-under 67 in the final round of the Sony Open in Hawaii.

Fourth in SG: Putting at Waialae
Kizzire shot a three-under 67 in the final round of the Sony Open in Hawaii to finish in a tie for 24th place.
Impact
Kizzire rode a hot putting week to a solid top-25 finish at Waialae. The 2018 Sony Open champion gained over six strokes with the putter and ranked T5 in putts per GIR. Kizzire had a pretty miserable driving week, however, as he ranked 70th in SG: Off-the-Tee and T70 in driving accuracy. He'll look to get that straightened out next week at The American Express.

Struggles in final round
Kizzire recorded an even-par 72 in the final round of the World Wide Technology Championship to finish tied for 31st place.
Impact
Kizzire began the day in the top-10 but struggled with his consistency despite the easy scoring conditions, posting five birdies, three bogeys and a double bogey Sunday to tumble down the leaderboard. He ranked third in driving distance for the tournament but was 60th in scrambling. Kizzire has only posted one top-25 across 24 starts this season.

Ties for 33rd at Bank of Utah
Kizzire fired a seven-under 64 on Sunday at the Bank of Utah Championship to finish 10-under and tied for 33rd.
Impact
Kizzire gained over three strokes with the flat stick en route to his bogey-free 64 on Sunday, hitting 13 of 14 fairways in regulation as well. He ended the tournament ranked T9 among the field in putts per GIR, ultimately tallying 21 total birdies across 72 holes. The T33 is Kizzire's best finish since a T20 at the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic back in May, but he remains well outside of the top-100 in the FedExCup Fall standings at 179th.

T65 at Valero Texas Open
Kizzire carded an 11-over 83 on Sunday at the Valero Texas Open to finish 12-over and tied for 65th.
Impact
Kizzire hit only five of 18 greens in regulation en route to the field's worst final-round performance, losing 8.2 total strokes Sunday. On a more positive note, he ended the streak of seven consecutive missed cuts that plagued him from the Sony Open in Hawaii through the Texas Children's Houston Open. Kizzire will tee it up again this week at Augusta National for his first Masters Tournament appearance since 2019.
