McNealy finished in a 10-way tie for 32nd at THE PLAYERS Championship after posting a two-under cumulative score.
Impact
McNealy was near the top of the leaderboard after a five-under 67 opening round, but he proceeded to score 71-73-75 over the next three days. He ranked T15 in the field in SG: Putting but was average or below across most other statistical categories, including T51 in bogeys made, 54th in SG: Approach and 68th in driving accuracy. McNealy has finished T29 or worse in three of his last four tournament outings, including a missed cut at The Genesis Invitational. He won't participate in the Valspar Championship next week.

Tied for 13th at API
McNealy carded a two-under 70 during the final round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational to finish in a share of 13th.
Impact
McNealy's best stretch of play came on the back nine of the third round, when he went four-under with three birdies, one eagle and a bogey. Although he only made nine birdies for the tournament, his six bogeys were tied for the fourth least, and he ranked eighth in the field in both SG: Off-the-Tee and SG: Around-the-Green. McNealy has made the cut in five of six PGA Tour events this season, including three finishes of T13 or better. He's in the field for THE PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP next week, where he finished T9 in 2024 before missing the cut in 2025.

MC at The Genesis by one stroke
McNealy missed the cut by one stroke at The Genesis Invitational after posting a one-over cumulative score.
Impact
McNealy opened the tournament with a two-under 69 and was in good position to make it to the weekend at Riviera, but he carded five bogeys in the second round to end with a three-over 74 and missed the cut by one stroke in the process. It was the first time McNealy missed the cut at a Tour event this season but sits 31st in the FedExCup Standings thanks to his three top-25 finishes (including a solo 10th at the Farmers Insurance Open). He won't participate in the Cognizant Classic next week but will tee it up two weeks from now at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. He's made the cut in three of five outings at the API, though his T46 in 2016 represents his best finish at the signature event.

Falters in final round
McNealy carded a one-over 73 in the final round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am to finish tied for 29th place.
Impact
McNealy began the day in the top-10 but struggled to get much going with only three birdies to go along with four birdies to tumble down the leaderboard. He lost 2.9 strokes putting Sunday, which was the only category he lost strokes to the field on for the tournament. McNealy's T29 finish is his worst result across four events this year.

Struggles in final group
McNealy struggled to a one-over 72 in the final round of the WM Phoenix Open to fall into a tie for 13th place.
Impact
McNealy had a tee time in the final group on Sunday after opening the week going 67-69-65, but he did not have the showing he wanted to as he was going after PGA Tour win No. 2. McNealy made four bogeys on the front-nine to go along with two birdies and then was only able to manage a one-under-par back-nine. McNealy was 67th of the 73 players that made the cut on Sunday in SG: Putting. It's still been a solid start to the season going T24-10th-T13. McNealy will look to hit up the flat stick next week at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

He opened the final round with four consecutive birdies from holes two to five but wasn't able to record another the rest of the day. McNealy has made the cut in five of his last six Tour outings, finishing in the top-10 in two of those tournaments. He's in the field for next week's WM Phoenix Open.

T24 at Sony Open
McNealy posted a three-under 67 during the final round at the Sony Open to finish tied for 24th.
Impact
McNealy opened the tournament with back-to-back 66 rounds, and he would have been in a better spot for the run at the clubhouse lead had it not been for his four-over 74 in the third round Saturday. He finished sixth in the field in driving distance (320.60 yards), though he was near the middle of the pack across most SG categories. McNealy dropped two spots to 23rd in the OWGR and is not in the field for The American Express next week.

Misses cut in Utah
McNealy recorded a two-day total of one-over at the Bank of Utah Championship to miss the cut by three strokes.
Impact
McNealy entered the week as the tournament favorite but failed to record an under-par round in his debut at Black Desert Resort, which was yielding low scores. He lost 1.9 strokes off the tee and also on the greens, which led to four bogeys and two double bogeys across 36 holes. McNealy is expected to next tee-it-up as the defending champion at the The RSM Classic on Nov. 20-23.

T23 in TOUR Championship debut
McNealy closed with an even-par 70 on Sunday at the TOUR Championship to finish six-under and tied for 23rd.
Impact
McNealy's TOUR Championship debut was highlighted by a six-under 64 on Friday when he gained 2.19 strokes putting en route to seven birdies, but he otherwise underwhelmed at East Lake, landing just 25th of 30 in SG: Tee-to-Green for the week. Through 24 events played in 2025, McNealy racked up seven top-10s to just four missed cuts on the way to $8.2 million in official earnings.

Closes strong to finish third
McNealy shot a four-under 66 in the final round of the BMW Championship to finish in solo third place.
Impact
McNealy began the day in sixth place and played a steady round of golf with two birdies on the front and back-nine en route to a bogey-free round. He was led by his play on the greens, where he led the field for the tournament in SG: Putting. It's McNealy's fifth top-5 finish of the year and the result breaks a stretch of six straight tournaments without a top-15 finish.
