Impact McNealy opened the tournament with a two-under 69 and was in good position to make it to the weekend at Riviera, but he carded five bogeys in the second round to end with a three-over 74 and missed the cut by one stroke in the process. It was the first time McNealy missed the cut at a Tour event this season but sits 31st in the FedExCup Standings thanks to his three top-25 finishes (including a solo 10th at the Farmers Insurance Open). He won't participate in the Cognizant Classic next week but will tee it up two weeks from now at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. He's made the cut in three of five outings at the API, though his T46 in 2016 represents his best finish at the signature event.
