Doesn't make weekend at JDC Pavon missed the cut by three strokes at the John Deere Classic after carding a one-under 70 in the second round.

Impact The John Deere Classic is known as a low-scoring tournament, so Pavon dug himself a hole with a one-over 72 in the first round that he was unable to overcome Friday. He connected on 19 of 28 fairways (67.9 percent) and gained 0.83 strokes in his short game, but Pavon struggled in his approach play, losing 3.39 strokes in that category. It was the Frenchman's sixth missed cut of the season across 16 tournaments, with four of those MC's coming in his last seven outings. Pavon is listed in the field for next week's Genesis Scottish Open, where he's missed the cut in each of the last three years after a T36 finish in his debut at the event in 2022.

Ties for 40th at TPC Craig Ranch Pavon carded a two-under 69 on Sunday at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson to finish 12-under and tied for 40th.

Impact Pavon managed to break 70 in all four of his rounds at TPC Craig Ranch despite losing 2.64 strokes with the putter, ultimately ranking 14th among the field in SG: Approach en route to 18 total birdies and an eagle across 72 holes. He remains just outside of the top-100 in the FedExCup standings, but Pavon will be in attendance again this week at Colonial Country Club for his Charles Schwab Challenge debut.

Second in SG: Putting at Valspar Pavon posted a three-under 68 in the final round of the Valspar Championship to finish tied for 11th with Jordan Spieth and A.J. Ewart.

Impact Pavon posted three consecutive one-under 70 rounds before surging to a top-15 finish thanks to his four-under score on the back nine Sunday. He gained 6.65 strokes on the green and ranked second in that category for the tournament while also finishing 19th in SG: Off-the-Tee, though he was T58 in GIR and 62nd in SG: Approach. Pavon has made the cut in six of eight PGA Tour tournaments this season with two top-20s over his last four outings. He'll tee off at the Texas Children's Houston Open next week for the first time in his career.
