Impact Clanton's final round at TPC Craig Ranch was highlighted by an eagle on the par-4 first hole where his 156-yard approach shot found the bottom of the cup for a deuce. He ultimately ranked 17th among the field in SG: Approach and T14 in GIR percentage, making his fifth consecutive cut dating back to a 75th-place finish at the Texas Children's Houston Open. Clanton will peg it again this week at Colonial Country Club for his Charles Schwab Challenge debut.

Jumps into top-5 in Puerto Rico Clanton finished the Puerto Rico Open with a four-under 68 in the final round to finish tied with Paul Peterson and Matti Schmid for fifth.

Impact Clanton saved his best round for last, with his final round highlighted by his eagle on the par-5 11th hole. He ranked near the bottom of the field in driving distance and was middle-of-the-pack in birdies made, but he limited his mistakes to just three bogeys (tied for second best) while finishing T8 in scrambling, T15 in driving accuracy and T24 in GIR. It was an encouraging performance out of Clanton after missing the cut in each of his first four Tour events of the season (including a withdrawal from The American Express in January due to an illness). He is currently not listed in the field for THE PLAYERS Championship next week.
