Impact Hirata found himself in a tie for second after playing his first two rounds in a collective 13-under-par, but back-to-back 70s on Saturday and Sunday ultimately kept him from posting what could've been his second career top-10 on the PGA Tour. He ranked fourth among the Byron Nelson field in both SG: Around-the-Green and FIR percentage, but Hirata lost 3.91 strokes with the flat stick in McKinney. Hirata will be in attendance again this week at Colonial Country Club for his Charles Schwab Challenge debut.
