Impact Kozuma had a poor finish to the 2025 LIV season with finishes of T50-T47-T40 over the last three tournaments. Despite his poor performance down the stretch and missing the first five LIV tournaments of the season due to a back injury, he earned more than enough points to avoid relegation, thanks to top-10 finishes in three events (T7 in Korea, T2 in Dallas and T10 in Andalucia). There's areas of his game that need improvement, but Kozuma has some positives to build upon heading into the 2026 LIV Golf sesaon.

Falls short at LIV Golf Dallas Kozuma fell to Patrick Reed in a four-man, one-hole playoff at LIV Golf Dallas to finish tied with Paul Casey and Louis Oosthuizen for second.

Impact With most of the field struggling during the final round at Maridoe Golf Club, Kozuma used a four-under 68 score to surge to the top of the leaderboard, and he even held the lead before bogeying the par-4 18th. That hole was the venue for the playoff, and while Kozuma had a chance to putt for par, he never got the chance to try after Reed sunk his birdie putt to win. It was another encouraging performance for Kozuma, who has tallied points in each of the last four LIV Golf tournaments after missing the first five events of the year due to a back injury, and he sits 29th in the individual season standings with 36.13 points. Kozuma and 17 other LIV Golf players will participate in Final Qualifier events Tuesday to earn a spot at The Open Championship.

Cracks top-24 with final round Kozuma finished tied for 23rd at LIV Golf Virginia after carding a bogey-free, seven-under 64 in the final round.

Impact Kozuma sat at two-over heading into the final round, but he made eagle on the par-4 12th hole and carded four consecutive birdies from holes 15 to 18. He was inaccurate off the tee (42.86 percent), but he did finish in the top-20 in scrambling opportunities and putts per hole, which was enough for him to climb up the leaderboard and earn points towards the LIV Golf individual season standings. Kozuma is in the field for the U.S. Open this weekend after finishing third in a four-man playoff at Final Qualifier in Japan on May 19.
