Impact Svensson began the day two shots off the lead as he eyed his first Tour victory, but he wasn't able to get much going with four birdies and two bogeys on a day in which scores were low. He gained shots in every strokes gained category for the week and notably ranked in the top-10 in SG: Off-the tee and around the green, as well as scrambling and birdies made. It's the first time Svensson has recorded back-to-back top-10s on the PGA Tour.

Share of ninth at TPC Craig Ranch Svensson posted a six-under 65 in the final round of THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson to finish in a five-way tie for ninth.

Impact Svensson scored three rounds of six-under or better, with his lone exception being a one-over 72 score Friday. He finished the tournament T2 in driving distance, third in SG: Around-the-Green, T5 in birdies, ninth in SG: Off-the-Tee and 14th in SG: Putting. He lost 2.91 strokes in his approach play (62nd), but it was an encouraging performance out of Svensson after missing the cut in four of his five prior events. It was his best finish since his T8 at the Puerto Rico Open and he'll hope to carry his momentum next week at the Charles Schwab Challenge, though he's currently listed as an alternate.
