Impact No reason was given for the late WD. Knapp was a popular play this week across many fantasy formats, so this is certainly a blow to those who were backing him this week. Knapp was as hot as any player on Tour in 2026 as he began the season with five straight finishes of T11 or better. Haotong Li was the first alternate and will now take his spot in the field at the third Signature Event of the season. Hopefully Knapp will be good to go for THE PLAYERS Championship next week.

Fourth straight top-15 finish Knapp finished in a share of eighth place at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am after his one-under 71 in the final round.

Impact Knapp didn't have the final round he was looking for, but he did make an eagle on 18 to salvage something in the red and secure his fourth straight finish of T11 or better to begin the 2026 season. The putter was strong for Knapp once again as he picked up nearly 5.5 strokes on the greens, good enough for fourth best in the field. Knapp also led the field in driving distance. He is proving that he can compete at the top of the leaderboard on any type of golf course. Knapp will look to stay hot at The Genesis Invitational next week at Riviera.

Solo eighth at WM Open Knapp fired a three-under 68 in the final round of the WM Phoenix Open to finish solo eighth.

Impact It was an inconsistent final round for Knapp, who was three-under with four birdies through the first 14 holes before alternating between bogeys and birdies over the final four holes. He struggled with his putting, but he ranked second in the field in driving distance, T4 in birdies made and in the top-10 in SG: Off the Tee, SG: Approach to Green and GIR. Knapp has started the 2026 PGA Tour season nicely with finishes of T11-T5-8 in three outings, and he is ninth in the FedExCup rankings with 257.5 points heading into next week's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
