Impact Knapp was coming off a strong performance at The Masters last week, when he finished solo 11th to punch his ticket to Augusta National in 2027. That momentum didn't carry into Harbour Town, where he went even par or worse in three of four rounds. The damage was done by his putter, as Knapp lost a whopping 10.55 strokes on the green, the worst in the field. Those struggles were surprising, given that he ranks sixth this season in SG: Putting. Knapp will have at least one week of rest as he's not in the field for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. He'll likely be in the field for the Cadillac Championship on April 30, the next Signature Event on the PGA Tour schedule.

Impact Knapp had a slow start to the tournament with a one-over 73 score Thursday, but he proceeded to go two-under par or better in each of the next three rounds. He carded a two-under 70 score Sunday, which was enough for him to move into the top-12 and guarantee his spot at Augusta National in 2027. Knapp led the field in SG: Off-the-Tee (including second in driving distance and 20th in driving accuracy), and he also ranked in the top-20 in SG: Putting and SG: Tee-to-Green. Knapp has finished T11 or better in seven of eight tournaments in 2026 and is projected to sit in 11th in the FedExCup Standings. He will look to continue his strong season next week at the RBC Heritage, where he finished T62 in his lone appearance at Harbour Town in 2024.

Ties course record at Memorial Park Knapp fired a bogey-free, eight-under 62 in the final round of the Texas Children's Houston Open to finish in a four-way tie for sixth.

Impact Knapp entered Sunday looking to improve on his one-over 71 score Saturday, which could have been worse had he not ended the round with an eagle and birdie on the 17th and 18th holes, respectively. He went three-under on the front nine of the final round before finishing strong with a five-under back, including an eagle on the par-5 16th. Knapp had a chance to set the course record at Memorial Park on the 18th hole, but his 22-foot birdie putt barely grazed the right side of the cup. He led the field with four eagles made while ranking second in driving distance, ninth in SG: Approach and 11th in SG: Putting. It was a fantastic finish to the TCHO for Knapp, who was coming off an MC at THE PLAYERS Championship two weeks ago, and he's finished T11 or better in six of seven PGA Tour events this season. He's not listed in the field for next week's Valero Texas Open, so Knapp's next outing will be two weeks from now at The Masters, where he finished T55 in his lone appearance at Augusta National in 2024.
