Impact The opening rounds at Harbour Town had relatively calm weather conditions, resulting in lower scoring rounds across the field. That was the case for English, who carded a bogey-free, seven-under 64 in the opening round before his three-under score Friday. He was near the top of the leaderboard heading into the weekend but gained just three strokes over the final two rounds. It was still enough for English's first top-5 finish of the 2026 season, and it was his best performance since his solo second at The Open Championship in July. He was the second-best putter in the field at the RBC Heritage, gaining 5.97 strokes on the green while ranking T5 in bogeys made, T6 in scrambling, T12 in birdies made and in the top-25 in GIR and SG: Around-the-Green. English won't tee off at the Zurich Classic next week but should be in the field in the next Signature Event, the Cadillac Championship, which starts April 30.

Impact English went one-over in the first round but proceeded to score 66-68-67 across the final three days of the tournament. He ranked 12th in the field in scrambling, 18th in SG: Putting and in the top-30 in sand saves, driving accuracy and SG: Approach, though he ranked 50th or worse in SG: Off-the-Tee, driving distance and SG: Around-the-Green. English has been incredibly consistent through the first two months of the 2026 Tour season, finishing between T21 and T28 in seven of eight tournaments, with his MC at THE PLAYERS Championship being the exception. He won't participate at the Valero Texas Open next week, and the next time he will tee off is at The Masters starting April 9. English has made the cut in each of his last five outings at Augusta National, with his T12 in 2025 being his best finish at the major.

MC at TPC Sawgrass English missed the cut by four strokes at THE PLAYERS Championship after posting a 73-77 scorecard.

Impact The writing was on the wall for English after his quadruple bogey on the par-4 18th hole in the second round, and he failed to make up enough ground on the back to make it to the weekend. It was his first missed cut of the season, though he finished between T22 and T28 in each of his first six tournaments of the season. He has dropped to 21st in the OWGR after ending last season in 13th. English is not in the field for the Valspar Championship next week.

However, he finished the Signature Event ranked top-10 in both putts per GIR and total feet of putts made en route to 19 total birdies across 72 holes. English has now placed T28 or better in six consecutive outings to begin his 2026 season, and he'll tee it up again this week at THE PLAYERS Championship where he finished T30-T19 the past two years.

Impressive Sunday finish at Riviera English fired a six-under 65 on Sunday in the final round of the Genesis Invitational to finish tied for 22nd.

Impact English began his week like many struggling with the tough conditions on Thursday as he opened with a two-over 73. English however turned the page on Friday as he reeled off three straight under par rounds of 68-70-65. For the week, English leaned on an impressive short game that saw him make over 90 feet of putts, ranking 5th among the field, which allowed him to gain over three strokes on his fellow competitors. English was also great scrambling to make pars when he missed the greens. He was able to save par on 19 of 26 missed greens for the week, ranking 13th in the field. While his game off the tee and with his irons weren't as sharp as we are normally accustom too seeing, look for English to turn that part of his game around when he makes his next start in Florida.

Second in SG: OTT at Pebble Beach English closed with a three-under 69 on Sunday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am to finish 14-under and tied for 24th.

Impact English rebounded from an opening 73 at Spyglass Hill by firing a nine-under 63 on Friday at Pebble Beach, when he made 152 feet of putts while gaining 3.54 strokes with the flat stick. He also finished the week ranked second among the field in SG: Off-the-Tee en route to 21 total birdies and an eagle across 72 holes. English now heads to Riviera Country Club for The Genesis Invitational where he placed T12-7 in 2023 and 2024.

Impact English showed off his accuracy at TPC Scottsdale, finishing sixth in the field in GIR, T8 in driving accuracy and ninth in SG: Off the Tee, though he was below average in SG: Approach to Green and SG: Around the Green. He has finished in the top-30 in all three of his PGA Tour outings this season and sits 13th in the OWGR, which is where he was ranked at the end of 2025. Next up for English is the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am next week, where he has made the cut in three of four outings, though he's finished T40 or worse in all of his appearances.
