Win slips away on back-nine Higgo had to settle for a share of fourth place after shooting a four-under 68 in the final round of the World Wide Technology Championship. Impact It looked like Sunday was going to be Higgo's day, but everything came crashing down at the par-4 12th hole when he got stuck in the native area and ended up carding a double-bogey. Giving away multiple shots on one hole is never good, but it's especially difficult to overcome on a week like this where the winning score was nearly 30-under. Higgo had to settle for a T4, but he will be disappointed not to have career win No. 3 on the PGA Tour, and his second on the year (Corales Puntacana Championship). Higgo has been arguably the best player in the fall portion of the schedule will now four straight finishes of T7-or-better. He is now up to 52nd in the FedExCup Fall standings, and will make the first two signature events in 2026 via the Aon Next 10. Higgo will not be in the field for next week's Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
