T18 at Royal Birkdale
Brown finished in a 10-way share of 18th at The Open Championship following a one-over 71 final round.
Impact
Brown started out strongly with a four-under 66 opening round but proceeded to card rounds of 71-69-71. The good news for the Englishman was that it broke his missed-cut streak at four tournaments, and he finished the event 18th in SG: Off-the-Tee, 21st in driving accuracy and 27th in SG: Approach. Brown will not participate in the 3M Open next week.

Fourth-straight missed cut
Brown posted a three-under 67 in the second round of the Genesis Scottish Open but missed the cut by two strokes.
Impact
Brown dug himself into a hole with a three-over 73 opening round, and while he carded seven birdies in the second round, that hard work was countered by four bogeys, three of which were scored on the back nine. The Englishman was one of the best approach players through the first two rounds, gaining 5.57 strokes with his irons. However, that was mitigated by the 5.81 strokes he lost with his putter. It's been a difficult year for Brown, who has made the cut in only six of 15 tournaments with only two top-25 finishes, one of which was the Zurich Classic of New Orleans (T13). The Open Championship next week presents Brown with the opportunity to change his fortunes; he missed the cut last year at Royal Portrush but finished T10 in his debut at the major in 2024 at Royal Troon.

Implodes in second round of CSC
Brown registered a four-over cumulative score across the first two rounds of the Charles Schwab Challenge to miss the cut by six strokes.
Impact
Brown opened the tournament with a one-under 69 first round, and he was well on his way to making the cut after going three-under over the first 12 holes of the second round. However, after a bogey on the par-3 fourth, things fell off the rails for Brown, who went seven-over across his final four holes with three double bogeys. He ended the second round near the bottom of the field in both SG: Around-the-Green and Putting, losing 4.65 strokes across those two categories. Brown has missed the cut in seven of 13 tournaments this season and has just one top-20 finish to his name, if you exclude his T13 at the Zurich Classic, when he was paired up with John Parry. Brown is not listed in the field for the Memorial Tournament next week.

Ties for 47th at THE CJ CUP
Brown fired a four-under 67 on Sunday at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson to finish 11-under and tied for 47th.
Impact
Brown made 128 feet of putts while gaining 3.13 strokes with the flat stick during Sunday's final round at TPC Craig Ranch, where he ultimately ranked 12th among the field in SG: Approach and T19 in GIR percentage for the week. The Englishman has now made the cut in three of four starts dating back to a T13 at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, though he resides just 132nd in the FedExCup standings ahead of his upcoming Charles Schwab Challenge debut.

T40 at PGA National
Brown finished in a tie for 40th place at the Cognizant Classic following a one-under 70 in the final round.
Impact
Brown had a solid ball striking week at 19th in SG: Off-the-Tee and 13th in SG: Approach, but was 49th in SG: Around-the-Green and 63rd in SG: Putting of the 67 players that made the cut. The good news at least is that he made the weekend after failing to make the cut in two of his prior three events. Brown was slated to tee it up at the Puerto Rico Open, but instead will skip playing next week.

Climbs to T19 in Hawaii
Brown finished in a five-way tie for 19th at the Sony Open in Hawaii after posting a four-under 66 in the final round.
Impact
Brown ended the tournament nicely by going three-under on the back nine of the final round, capped off by a birdie on the par-5 18th. He was middle-of-the-pack in most statistical categories but did rank 12th in the field in scrambling and SG: Putting and 20th in SG: Around the Green. It was Brown's first top-10 finish at a Tour event since his T10 at The Open Championship in July of 2024, and his efforts in Hawaii jumped him up four spots to 67th in the OWGR. He is in the field for The American Express next week.

Surges to top-5 finish
Brown fired a five-under 66 in the final round to vault into solo fourth place at the Amgen Irish Open.
Impact
Brown impressed a lot of the world with his performance at the Open Championship at Royal Troon when he scored a top-10 finish and was fighting for the win for much of the week. He showed some of that form at Royal County Down as well piling up two eagles and 18 birdies. Brown unfortunately also made 13 bogeys and a triple-bogey, which was just too much to overcome to fight for the win. The solo fourth does move Brown up to 38th in the Race to Dubai standings and he will look to continue the hot putting at the BMW PGA Championship.

T10 at Royal Troon
Brown fell into a tie for 10th place after shooting a three-over 74 in the final round of the Open Championship.
Impact
Brown was one of the biggest stories of the week earning his way in through Final Qualifying and taking the 18-hole lead after a six-under 65. Brown came in with no form having missed the cut in six straight events before a 61st place finish at the Scottish Open last week. He certainly did not look like that guy at Royal Troon as he was in the final group on Saturday and it looked like he might be the 54-hole leader before fading to one shot off the lead with a bogey on 17 and a double-bogey on 18. Brown was paired with World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler on Sunday and while he didn't have his best stuff he was still able to grind out a T10 finish which locks him up a spot at the Open Championship next year. Brown led the field in SG: Putting and will hope to carry some momentum into the rest of the DP World Tour season.
