T12 at Oakmont in U.S. Open Bezuidenhout closed with a two-over par 72 in the final round of the U.S Open to finish six-over par and tied for 12th. Impact Bezuidenhout has struggled most of the year particularly with his ball striking. So one would think that the difficult Oakmont CC would not be a good set up for Bezuidenhout to find success. However that was not the case. Bezuidenhout not only gained strokes on the field in his ball striking, but he also gained strokes on the field in SG: Putting and SG: Around the Green. At the end of the tournament Bezuidenhout gained 2.33 strokes in SG: Total. This success led to him carding 72-71-71-72 in his four rounds, ranking T3 for the most pars made for the week, and finishing tied for 12th. Outside of a T4 finish in Phoenix back in February, this was Bezuidenhouts best finish on the year.
