Impact Hoffman took advantage of his sponsor exemption for the WMPO by posting his first top-15 result since the Rocket Mortgage Classic last July. This past week at TPC Scottsdale, he ranked T7 among the field in total birdies with 19, despite finishing outside the top-50 in putts per GIR. He also gained nearly four strokes on his approach shots. Hoffman jumps from 164th to No. 124 in the FedExCup standings, though he won't be in attendance for the upcoming Genesis Invitational.
