Heading to the U.S. Open
Cauley qualified for this year's U.S. Open after shooting a three-under 69 and a four-under 68 at the U.S. Open Final Qualifying site in Columbus on Monday.
Impact
Cauley was one of the six qualifiers to come out of the U.S. Open Final Qualifying event in Columbus, Ohio on Monday. Cauley opened his qualifying with a solid three-under 69 to put himself in position to make a run at qualifying. After going out with an even-par 36 in his final round, Cauley needed to make a back nine charge. He then reeled off four straight birdies on holes 11, 12, 13, and 14 to finish his final round at seven-under par for the event, just two shots out of a playoff. This comes to no surprise as Cauley has put together a very nice season so far. He's collected four top-10s and seven top-30s in 13 events on the PGA Tour this year, while only missing one cut. He will be put to the test next week at Oakmont as he attempts to play better then he did in his last major at this year's PGA Championship, where he finished tied for 72nd.

Solo third place at Colonial
Cauley carded a three-under 67 in the final round to finish in solo third place at the Charles Schwab Challenge.
Impact
Cauley was one of just a handful of players to shoot under-par in all four rounds. While the leaders of Ben Griffin and Matti Schmid were struggling through the middle of the round, Cauley went to five-under for his first 11 holes and was in position to challenge with a strong finish. Unfortunately, that fell apart with a double on the par-3 13th. Nevertheless, it was still enough for the 35-year-old to notch his best finish of the season and his fourth top-six result. Cauley is now up to 36th in the FedExCup standings and will tee it up at the Memorial Tournament.

T72 in Charlotte
Cauley closed with a three-over 74 on Sunday at the PGA Championship to finish 10-over and tied for 72nd.
Impact
Cauley struggled to avoid the big numbers throughout his week at Quail Hollow, ultimately finishing the major championship with 16 total bogeys and three doubles to just 12 birdies. However, he remains top-50 in the FedExCup standings ahead of the upcoming Charles Schwab Challenge where he'll be making his first Colonial Country Club appearance since a T29 here in 2020.

Continues to play well
Cauley posted a two-under 70 on Sunday at the Valero Texas Open to finish in a share of fifth place.

Cauley was never in contention but that didn't stop him from climbing over 20 spots on the leaderboard in the final round after posting five birdies on a day when scores were high. He was led by his ball striking as he ranked in the top-10 for the week in SG: Approach, driving distance and GIR. Cauley has been in excellent form as of late with three consecutive top-10 finishes.

Strong showing at PLAYERS
Cauley posted a two-over 74 on Sunday at The PLAYERS Championship to finish in a share of sixth place.
Impact
Cauley was a late addition to the field and the local resident made the most of his opportunity as he was just one back heading into the final round where he stumbled with three birdies and five bogeys to finish T6. His 22 birdies ranked second for the tournament, and he was fifth in SG: Putting. Cauley has made 4-of-5 cuts in 2025 with a pair of top-25s.
