Impact Hossler went under-par in the first round and needed just one more stroke after carding a birdie on the par-4 seventh hole in the second round, but his bogey on the par-3 eighth sunk his chances of making it to the weekend. Accuracy off the tee wasn't an issue, as he connected on 20 of 28 fairways over his two rounds, though he lost 3.32 strokes in his approach play. Hossler has missed the cut in three of his last four tournaments -- with a T3 at the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic sandwiched in between -- and has failed to make the weekend in seven of 12 tournaments this weekend. He is not listed in the field for the Memorial Tournament next week.

Hossler has finished T23-T37-MC-T21 over his last four PGA Tour events after missing the cut in each of the first three tournaments of the year. Impact Hossler came into this week needing a strong finish and some help along the way to make the FedEx Cup Playoffs. After rounds of 66-68-70 in the first three rounds, Hossler's playoff hopes were fading fast. However that didn't stop Hossler from making a strong attempt on Sunday to back door his way into the playoffs. His final round 65 allowed Hossler to jump 14 spots into the top-20 and finish T15, which now makes it four top-15 finishes in his last five tournaments.
