Top-12 finish in Napa Eckroat carded a final round one-under 71 Sunday at the Procore Championship to finish in a share of 11th place.

Impact Eckroat was consistent all week shooting under par in all four rounds, but it was his driving that really dictated whether he had the opportunity to score. In both the first and the third rounds, Eckroat ranked first and in a tie for forth in SG: Off the Tee, gaining on average 1.52 strokes on the field, while shooting a combined eight-under par. Compare that to the second and final rounds, where Eckroat ranked 71st and 54th in SG: Off the Tee, losing nearly a half a stroke to the field and shooting a combined three-under par. While Eckroat seemed to be hot and cold off the tee, he still was able to grind out a top-12 finish to start his fall season off on the right foot.

T11 at John Deere Classic Eckroat closed with a final round three-under 68 to finish in a tie for 11th at 15-under par in the John Deere Classic.

Impact After opening the John Deere Classic with an eight-under 63, he wasn't able to follow it up in his next three rounds after going 71,67,68 to finish tied for 11th. Eckroat's ball striking in the first round really allowed him to shoot low and get off to a good start, as he gained over five shots on the field in SG: Approach. That solid ball striking seemed to tail off as the week went on and Eckroat wasn't able to knock down enough putts to really give him a chance to contend. Still, Eckroat will take a top-20 finish and the positive momentum after only finishing in the top-30 once in his last 15 starts.

Misses cut at THE CJ CUP Eckroat recorded a 36-hole score of two-under-par to miss the cut at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson by three shots.

Impact Eckroat's short game was the primary issue at TPC Craig Ranch, where he lost a combined 4.4 strokes on and around the greens while also converting only three of eight scrambling opportunities. However, he's now gained strokes with his irons in three consecutive starts ahead of the upcoming Truist Championship.

Third straight missed cut Eckroat carded a two-day total of one-under-par to miss the cut at this past week's Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches by four shots.

Impact Eckroat, who won at PGA National in 2024, failed to advance to the weekend this time around as he hit only 15 of 28 fairways in regulation while also losing 1.99 strokes putting. He's now missed the cut in three consecutive starts since his T13 effort at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, descending to 66th in the FedExCup standings. Eckroat will attempt to bounce back at Bay Hill Club this week where he tied for 36th in his Arnold Palmer Invitational debut last year.

Impact Eckroat was in the mix heading into the weekend following back-to-back rounds of 67, but he cooled off the final two days with just six birdies to fall outside the top-10. He stood out statistically by ranking eighth for the week in SG: Off-the-tee and tied for sixth in GIR. Eckroat has a pair of top-15s to start the year but has lost strokes around the green in all four tournaments.

Impact Eckroat finished in the top-20 for the fifth time in his last seven starts. Usually it's the ball-striking that carries him, but this week it was the putter which gained him nearly 4.6 strokes on the field, good enough for fifth-best for the tournament. Eckroat is a dangerous player if he putts well and a third PGA Tour win may not be very far away if that keeps up. He will tee it up at the Sony Open in Hawaii.

T17 at The RSM Classic Eckroat closed with a four-under 66 on Sunday at The RSM Classic to finish 10-under and tied for 17th.

Impact Eckroat paced the entire field in SG: Off-the-Tee throughout the three rounds hosted by Sea Island's Seaside Course, but he fell to 64th in SG: Around-the-Green. Nonetheless, the T17 result is Eckroat's ninth top-25 of a successful season that was highlighted by a pair of wins at the Cognizant Classic and the World Wide Technology Championship. Given his recent champion status, expect to see Eckroat next at The Sentry in early January.

Impact It was a very compact leaderboard going into Sunday and someone was bound to shoot a round like this to take all the marbles. Eckroat was the man for the job carding 11 birdies in the final round to take his second PGA Tour win of 2024. Apart from a sixth at the Wyndham Championship, Eckroat hadn't finished in the top-10 since that first career win at the Cognizant Classic at PGA National in early March. This certainly gives this talented ball-striker some positive momentum going into 2025. Eckroat is not listed in the field for the Butterfield Bermuda Championship next week.
