Notches T4 finish in Hawaii Putnam finished in a share of fourth place at the Sony Open in Hawaii following a two-under 68 in the final round. Impact Putnam got himself in the mix with a 10-birdie, eight-under 62 in the third round. He was really quiet throughout much of the day on Sunday, but a birdie-birdie finished helped him secure a strong T4 result. Putnam just rode his putter all week, gaining 10.54 strokes on the greens. It's rare that a player who ranks 64th in SG: Tee-to-Green finishes anywhere close to the top-five, but credit to Putnam for just battling through his swing issues. This is the 33-year-old's third top-12 finish of the season and he will look for another good showing next week at the American Express.
