Wins Argentina Open
Docherty posted a 22-under cumulative score at the 119 Visa Argentina Open on the Korn Ferry Tour to win the tournament by one stroke over Chris Korte and S.Y. Noh.
Impact
Docherty entered the final round tied with Noh at the top of the leaderboard, with the former scoring 63-66-64 over the first three days of the tournament. Docherty put together a strong five-under 65 final round, and his birdie on the par-4 18th proved to be the difference maker as he was able to hold off Noh and a late surge from Korte. It was Docherty's first Korn Ferry Tour victory in his career and a welcome sight for the American after his T2 finish at The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic in mid-January. He'll be in the field for next week's Astara Chile Classic.

Surges to T2 at Abaco Classic
Docherty fired a six-under 66 during the final round of The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic to finish tied with Justin Hastings for second.
Impact
Docherty went 71-70-70 through the first three rounds of the event, but he surged 12 spots up the leaderboard during the final round thanks to some fantastic play. He would have been in position to force a playoff with eventual winner Ian Holt had it not been for the former's bogey on the par-5 15th hole. Despite ranking in the bottom half of the field in driving accuracy, Docherty finished T2 in birdies made and in the top-25 in both scrambling and GIR. It was a nice bounce-back outing from the American after missing the cut at The Bahamas Golf Classic last week, and he'll likely be in the field for The Panama Championship that starts Jan. 29.
