Impact Noland was Trey Lance's backup at North Dakota State last season and has some experience under center during his time at Iowa State., so there's a chance he could contend for reps under center if Doty's injury is set to carry over into the season. Noland completed 51 of his 100 attempts last season for 721 yards and a 5:6 TD:INT ratio but had better numbers during his 2019 campaign when he was at Iowa State.
