Bottled up against Blue Devils Davis recorded five rushes for two yards during Friday's 19-16 loss against Duke.

Impact Davis was limited to just 0.4 yards per carry, as it was the Jekail Middlebrook show on Friday. The former MTSU Blue Raider rumbled for a career-high 117 yards and a touchdown, leaving very few carries for both Davis, Xavier Brown, etc. Davis has been limited to five or few touches in three of the past six games, and his fantasy appeal remains rather limited moving forward.

Totals nine touches in loss Davis totaled seven rushes for 34 yards and hauled in all two targets for 12 yards during Saturday's 23-13 defeat against Southern Methodist.

Impact Davis had nine total touches, to 17 total touches for Jekail Middlebrook. He has managed at least six total touches in five of seven games to date, and he has averaged 5.2 yards per rushing attempt. When his number is called, he produces, but he'll continue to take a backseat, as long as Middlebrook remains healthy.

Punches in TD against Syracuse Davis tallied six rushes for 39 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 28-25 win against Syracuse.

Impact Davis had a strong 6.5 rushing yards per attempt, and he had his first visit to the end zone since Aug. 29 against NC State. While he has managed just 5.0 carries per game in the past two outings, his rushing yards per carry were his best since Sept. 11. However, as long as Jekail Middlebrook stays hot, extra work might be hard to come by for Davis.

Unable to mount much offense Davis tallied four rushes for 10 yards during Saturday's 38-7 loss against Florida State.

Impact Davis was limited to just 2.5 yards per rushing attempt, as Virginia was hemmed in by the Florida State defense all day long in a 31-point rout. The good news for Davis is that nobody else really did much of anything, either, outside of a somewhat productive afternoon by Jekail Middlebrook. The Cavaliers will look to rebound against Syracuse on Saturday night.

Leads team before checking out Davis had 10 rushes for 30 yards and reeled in 2 of 3 targets for 27 yards during Saturday's 42-3 win versus Delaware.

Impact Davis has a team-best 30 receiving yards, while adding 27 receiving yards. However, his touches were rather limited, as he gave way to Xavier Brown and Noah Vaughn for some valuable hands-on experience against the Blue Hens in the rout. Davis should see a larger workload at Florida State next Saturday.

SEPTEMBER 27 • ROTOWIRE

Doesn't see carry in Charlotte Davis had three catches for 51 yards during Saturday's 38-27 defeat against West Virginia.

Impact Davis emerged as a solid option in the run game in the first couple of games, but he went without a carry Saturday, with Jekail Middlebrook carrying the load with Xavier Brown providing relief when needed. Davis did lead the team with 51 receiving yards, and he had the second-longest play from scrimmage on a 35-yard catch and scamper.

Hits triple digits vs. Norfolk State Davis had 11 rushes for 107 yards during Friday's 59-3 victory versus Norfolk State.

Impact Davis hit triple digits, while averaging a gaudy 9.7 yards per attempt, including a 44-yard scamper for the team's longest offensive play from scrimmage. After a rough start against NC State, even with a rushing touchdown, the Richmond native was amped to face the FCS defense from his hometown university. He'll look to carry over the momentum into next Saturday's game against West Virginia.
