Departing New Mexico State Eget announced Tuesday that he will enter the portal as a graduate transfer.

Impact Eget appeared in seven games over the past three seasons with the Aggies, though he never attempted more than 10 passes in any of these campaigns. The 6-foot-3 signal-caller will have two remaining years of collegiate eligibility.

Doesn't travel due to knee injury Eget didn't make the trip for Saturday's game against San Diego State due to a knee injury, Jason Groves of the Las Cruces Sun-News reports.

Impact Eget split some reps under center in the opener versus UTEP but managed to complete just one of his nine pass attempts for seven yards while rushing three times for another 13 yards. Jonah Johnson hasn't fared that much better for the Aggies, so Eget could have a chance to move back into the competition if he can get healthy soon.
