Impact Kilcrease entered the game for an injured Goose Crowder, and took the majority of the reps at quarterback after the latter was banged up and only played limited snaps. Still, he struggled, tossing two picks and struggling with his efficiency. Kilcrease got plenty of action in his junior year, tossing for 1,537 yards, nine touchdowns and six interceptions while rushing for 126 yards and five scores. He'll have one season of eligibility remaining.

Impact Kilcrease filled in the game after teammate Goose Crowder (ankle) was carted off the field. The QB2 unfortunately, struggled completely in the eventual loss, completing just one pass and being thwarted as a rusher. He'll likely be the starting quarterback for Troy's bowl game now.

Impact Kilcrease, who came into Saturday with a probable designation, is now off the injury report heading into kickoff. He will likely split snaps with Goose Crowder, as that was the plan in Week 12 prior to Kilcrease's early exit.

Impact Kilcrease reportedly appeared to injure his left arm or shoulder. He was splitting reps with Goose Crowder, who now figures to hold down the QB1 duties for the Trojans, at least for the time being. Crowder had completed 4-of-5 passes for 34 yards before getting knocked out of the ballgame.

Splitting reps against ODU Head coach Gerad Parker revealed that Kilcrease will share reps with the returning Goose Crowder against Old Dominion, per Josh Boutwell of The Troy Messenger.

Impact Kilcrease had been filling in for the injured Crowder since Week 3 against Memphis and seems to have earned the right to stay on the field in some capacity, at least for now. The 6-foot quarterback has thrown for 1,400 yards and nine touchdowns to four interceptions across eight games this season while adding 125 yards and five scores on the ground as well. It will be interesting to see the split between the two signal callers against the Monarchs, but Kilcrease's level of production can certainly be expected to drop with Crowder's return.

Impact Kilcrease has now gone back-to-back games with non passing touchdowns and one interception, slowing down from the start he had since taking over as the Trojan starter. The quarterback's fifth rushing touchdown came in the fourth quarter from one yard out. In his six starts, Kilcrease has thrown for 1335 yards, nine touchdowns and three interceptions. Troy will head on the road next to face Old Dominion on Thursday, Nov.13.

Considering Caldwell didn't fare much better than Kilcrease, it's unclear who the Trojans would turn to in Week 9 if Crowder can't play. Kilcrease threw for 249 yards and two touchdowns in his only other start this season.
