Impact Muskett barely completed half of his passes and gave the ball away twice. That's not exactly a recipe for success, and in turn, Virginia lost by 20 points to its bitter rival. Sitting at 5-7, Virginia won't play in a bowl game. Muskett played sparingly in 2024, tossing for 545 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions. His collegiate career is likely over.

Muskett at least protected the football and ran for two scores, but the game was essentially over by the time he was inserted. Given the starting quarterback's miserable performance, there could very feasibly be a quarterback controversy for the Cavaliers.
