Off injury report Mims is off the injury report ahead of Saturday's game at Southern Miss.

Impact Mims, who has not played so far this season, is now off the injury report ahead of Week 12. It's still unlikely he sees the field though as he hasn't played regardless of his status on the weekly availability reports.

Impact Mims hasn't seen the field yet this season for the Bobcats after playing a regular role at Southern Miss in 2024. It appears that streak will continue through Saturday at a minimum.

Joining the Bobcats Mims has announced his commitment to Texas State, per his personal X.com account.

Impact Mims will make the move to Texas State after spending the last three seasons with Southern Miss. During his time with the program, the 5-foot-9 junior tallied 96 receptions for 1,207 yards and six touchdowns. Mims will look to secure a role with the Bobcats this fall.

Impact Mims has been as consistent a wideout as anyone can get. For each of his three seasons, meaning Mims enters the transfer portal as a junior, he logged 350-to-450 yards and at least one touchdown.

Impact Mims was expected to be the Golden Eagles' top wideout in 2024 but combined for four catches and 23 yards in the team's first two games. The Junior finally showed the flashes we saw in 2023 on Saturday, logging multiple big gains and pacing Southern Miss in receptions and receiving yards.
