Impact Jackson, who transferred to North Texas after one year at Tennessee, two years at Indiana and spending the most recent season at UCF, appears to be out in front in the three-man race for the starting quarterback gig in Denton, although the battle is still raging. Last fall with the Knights, he tossed for 2,151 yards, 10 touchdowns and eight interceptions, adding 85 yards and a score on the ground. He's the most experienced of the three and again, should have the inside track, but the Mean Green will let this battle rage into fall camp.
