Impact Walker was held below 50 rushing yards for just the second time this season as the Badgers offense stumbled its way through Friday's rivalry matchup. The Oklahoma transfer provided a real spark to Wisconsin's offense midway through the year before fading down the stretch, as he failed to eclipse 60 rushing yards in four of the final five games. However, this was largely because of the team's woeful run blocking and overall incompetence on offense over that final stretch. Walker finishes his final collegiate season with career-highs across the board, tallying 190 carries for 864 yards and 10 touchdowns across 11 games.

Walker also coughed up an extremely poor-timed fumble that led to a Nebraska field goal just before the end of the first half. Over the last four games, Walker has averaged 18.0 carries for 65.8 yards while tallying just one touchdown. He'll likely need to play a significant factor in order for the Badgers to knock off the rival Gophers during the regular-season finale Friday.

Impact Walker had a nice bounce back against what has been a tough Oregon defense this season. The 5-foot-9 senior didn't have much room to run, but he continued to find yards after contact and gained extra yards on a number of cutback runs. He also averaged nearly 5.0 yards per carry after totaling 111 rushing yards on 38 carries over the previous two games. Since taking over as RB1 in Week 6, Walker has accumulated 626 yards and seven touchdowns on 124 carries. With the Badgers firing offensive coordinator Phil Longo on Sunday, the team will likely need to rely heavily on Walker to keep things afloat while looking to secure a bowl berth over the final two games.

Impact Walker was stonewalled by Penn State's stout defensive front for most of the game. The 5-foot-9 senior found some glimmers of room during the first half, culminating in his one-yard touchdown run to put the Badgers up 10-7 at the end of the second quarter. But, he still had by far his most inefficient outing since taking over as the team's RB1 in Week 6. Over the last four games, Walker has now averaged 22.0 carries for 119.3 yards and he's totaled seven rushing scores. He'll have to face another notoriously strong rushing defense during next week's game at Iowa.

Impact Walker rushed for over 100 yards for the second week in a row. The senior running back has been extremely prodcutive since taking as RB1 over the last three games, totaling 66 carries for 418 yards and six touchdowns. While he didn't get into the end zone versus Northwestern he should continue to power the Badgers' newfound prolific rushing offense moving forward. Impact Walker powered what was easily Wisconsin's best offensive performance of the season when considering the opposing defense. The Oklahoma transfer was responsible for almost two-thirds of the team's 309 rushing yards as well as three of its five rushing touchdowns, scoring on carries of two, nine and 55 yards. Walker has broken out as the new featured back for the Badgers over the past two games, tallying 43 carries for 292 yards and six touchdowns. He also tallied over twice as many carries as the next-closest back in true freshman Darrion Dupree (10), who also appears to have emerged as the No. 2 rusher. Impact Walker shouldered the workload for the Badgers' ground game with season-highs in carries and touchdowns against Purdue. This included rushing scores of 12, one and 17 yards. The Oklahoma transfer had been splitting carries with sixth-year senior Chez Mellusi through the first four games this season. The 5-foot-9, 218-pound rusher once again showed his powerful style while retaining his role as co-starter alongside Chez Mellusi, who logged 11 carries for 66 yards. However, neither back found much sustained success versus the Crimson Tide defense, as the Badgers offense couldn't overcome the loss of starting quarterback Tyler Van Dyke who left with a lower-body injury very early in the game. This included a crucial 4th-down attempt late in the first quarter when Walker was met behind the line of scrimmage for a short loss. Van Dyke was seen walking on crutches during the second half, and is set to undergo an MRI with what will probably be a significant injury, according to SBNation. With Braedyn Locke set to step in under center moving forward, the Badgers will likely need Walker and Mellusi to help buoy this offense moving forward into Big Ten play.
