Headed to UTEP Jones will transfer to UTEP, per a post on his personal X account.

Impact Jones has been unable to unlock a regular role on offense in his four seasons at Missouri, but he did compile 27 carries for 111 yards and a touchdowns over the past three seasons. He'll head back home to El Paso to finish out his college career with hopes of claiming a bigger role in the offense.

Hitting transfer portal Jones plans to enter the transfer portal, he announced on X.

Impact Jones will leave the Tigers with one final year of eligibility remaining. The 5-foot-9 running back served as a depth running back in all of his seasons with Missouri, but he scored his first touchdown in 2025 alongside seven rushes for 31 yards.

Scores first touchdown Jones notched four rushes for 24 yards and one touchdown and caught their only target for 20 yards during Saturday's 42-6 victory over Massachusetts.

Impact Jones scored his first collegiate touchdown on a 3-yard run during the initial minutes of the fourth quarter with the game under control. He is down the pecking order but will hope to earn more opportunities for the next game against Alabama on Oct. 11.

Three carries in debut Jones had three carries for 13 yards in the Week 3 win over Abilene Christian.

Impact Jones was able to get a taste of his first collegiate action Saturday and ripped off an 11-yard carry for his first run. The true freshman could see a bit more usage Saturday against Auburn with Elijah Young (undisclosed) inactive.
