Signs with William & Mary Sims has signed with William & Mary, according to the team's announcement Tuesday.

Impact Even though Sims logged triple-digit yards and multiple touchdowns during 2024, he will look to take a step down in competition, going from the FBS to FCS for his 2025 season. It was in 2024 that he logged career bests in carries (32), rushing yards (108) and TDs (two).

Impact Sims has left ODU and will head into the portal with one year of eligibility remaining. The running back made seven appearances for ODU in 2024, tallying 32 carries for 108 yards and two touchdowns.

It's unclear how long Young will be sidelined, but expect Sims and Roche to remain highly involved if Young can't play Saturday against Texas State.
