Rickie Collins - Drawing start vs. Miami Collins is starting against Miami on Saturday, according to a report from WAER Sports.
Impact Collins didn't start against UNC in Week 10, but he returned to the starting role in this Week 11 matchup. This is his seventh start of the season. In the previous six, Collins completed only 54.5 percent of his passes for 957 yards and a 6:8 TD:INT.

Impact With Carney having seen action in three games already this season, the quarterback can suit up for one more of Syracuse's three remaining games while still preserving his redshirt. Carney has completed 2-of-3 passes for 10 yards, with seven carries for 28 yards and a score as well.

Joseph Filardi - Rough outing in first start Filardi completed 4 of 18 passes for 39 yards during Friday's 27-10 loss to North Carolina. He also had seven rushes for eight yards.
Impact Syracuse has struggled to find a quality replacement for starting quarterback Steve Angeli (Achilles), and the Orange hoped Filardi would provide some answers Friday night. The true freshman struggled greatly in what was his first extended action at the college level, completing just 22 percent of his passes. He led just one scoring drive - a 13-play, 50-yard drive that ended in a field goal - but all of the Orange's yardage on that drive came on the ground as Filardi went 0-for-4. While Filardi showed some rushing ability, his lackluster passing performance could prompt Syracuse to look elsewhere in Week 11.
