Impact Petras finished with the most productive performance of his subpar 2022 campaign, eclipsing 200 passing yards for the first time this season. The senior also tallied his second passing touchdown of the year on a 5-yard completion to tight end Luke Lachey in the waning seconds of Saturday's loss. However, while the quarterback did notch an efficient 67.7 completion percentage, nearly two-thirds of Petras' production came after the Hawkeyes fell down 20-0 early in the second half. The pocket passer will have a tough time reproducing these numbers in more competitive games moving forward.

Petras will need to find a more balanced passing distribution in order to find similar success against Michigan's stout defense next week.
