Impact Petras entered the transfer portal as a grad transfer and will join the Aggies after spending the 2023 season with Iowa. He didn't play a single snap with the Hawkeyes this year, and although he did play between 2018 and 2022, he'll look to have at least a chance to compete for a role with his new program.

Impact Petras missed the entire 2023 season after undergoing shoulder surgery last fall. The senior quarterback will look to play one more year at a different program. He finished 2022 by completed 55.7 percent of his passes for 1,717 yards, five touchdowns and five interceptions.
