Commits to North Texas Evans is transferring to North Texas, per Brett Vito of the Denton Record-Chronicle.

Impact Evans will join the Mean Green after having spent two years at Sam Houston. During the 2024 campaign, he hauled in 50 passes for 559 yards and six touchdowns.

Impact Evans will suit up for the Bearkats in their bowl game against Georgia Southern on Dec. 19. Evans will remain in the transfer portal and seek a new school after playing in the bowl game, but he'll give it one last ride with the Bearkats.
