Impact Robertson let it fly in Friday's season opener, logging over 400 passing yards and tossing three touchdowns. Although it wasn't his most efficient game, it was still the second most passing yards he's had in a game -- behind last season's loss in the Texas Bowl to LSU -- and he also did not turn the ball over. He looks set to have another productive campaign as the Bears' quarterback.

Impact Baylor's bowl game included a season high in pass attempts (51) for Robertson, who used his uptick for them to also record his career high in passing yards. In doing so, he finished 2024 with over 3,000 passing yards, which seemed unlikely going into the Baylor-LSU game. This year proved Robertson has what it takes to be a starting quarterback, and not moving away from the Bears should allow him to retain a QB1 role going into 2025.
