Impact Ward caught his first collegiate touchdown against the Buffaloes. The reserve tight end has five catches (on six targets) for 40 yards and the score on the 2025 season. West Virginia will play at Arizona State next week.

Committed to West Virginia Ward announced his committment to paly for West Virginia for the 2025 seasons via his X account Wednesday.

Impact Ward will join the Mountaineers following a single season with North Carolina. Teh 6-foot-3 tight end appeared in 11 games foer the Tar Heels in 2024, failing to record a target in that time. He will retain three years of eligibility with WVU moving forward.
