Comes up clutch vs. Georgia Tech Lombardi went 10-for-16 for 97 yards and two touchdowns, along with the game-winning two-point conversion pass and 22 rushing yards, Saturday night against Georgia Tech.

Impact Lombardi has established himself during spring practices as the top signal caller going into the season according to head coach Thomas Hammock. At this point, Ethan Hampton will be the backup quarterback. Lombardi is an offseason transfer from Michigan State who was inconsistent during his time with the Spartans. Now he will be given the reigns to lead Northern Illinois in 2021 it appears.
