Impact Virgil had been a consistently reliable receiver this season, but he was locked down by an aggressive Oregon secondary that played like it was still frustrated it let JMU hang 34 points on it in the first round of the College Football Playoffs. Virgil still had a very solid year in his first season in Lubbock, catching 57 passes for 705 yards and six touchdowns. The receiver appears to be out of eligibility.
