He did not score which hurt his overall performance, but he maintained his place as the clear No. 1 back. It's worth noting that new starting quarterback Jeff Sims ran 29 times for 228 yards and two touchdowns which obviously could impact Brown for the future. Sims has not really shown that type of rushing ability throughout his career, so it's very possible this was an outlier performance.
